RBSR makes it easier to reduce that stress with a supportive group, mindful movement, and a new approach to healthy living.

What is RBSR?

Running Based Stress Reduction is a practice focused on mindful movement to reduce stress and anxiety.
It combines light running, gentle yoga, and group meditation.

Who is RBSR for?

This group is for adult women and men that are committed to a balanced approach to managing physical, mental, and social health. *You do not need to be an experienced runner to join.

Is it free to join?

Group sessions range from from $200-$500 per session. Sessions vary in length from 2-3 months to 4-6 months.

What do we do as a member?

Members receive a custom training plan, mindfulness exercises for individual practice, and education on RBSR and how to incorporate it in your daily life. Group sessions consist of light running, yoga & gentle movement, and meditation. In addition to weekly meetups, each session includes a variety of activities like discussions on mental health, book club, seminars, brunch and more!

Where do we meet?

Our group meets in various locations in Northern California within the Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Cupertino, and Sunnyvale. *Locations are subject to change.

Running is not therapy.

Running has healing powers, however, it takes more than exercise to have balanced health. RBSR is an approach to running that allows you to slow down your mind, examine your thoughts, and reflect on your journey.

RBSR is not just about running.

It’s a time for personal reflection, internal and external awareness, and reestablishing a connection with yourself, and others.

RBSR is a community.

We support each other through our commitment and presence. We support ourselves through the physical & mental routine of running, yoga, and meditation.

The Running Based Stress Reduction for Youth is a social group that teaches how to handle stress using different natural methods. It’s a place to make friends, learn and enjoy yourself!
