MEET KJERSTI

Pronounced Chair-stee.

As a licensed marriage and family therapist (MFT 53781), I bring over 14 years of experience working in community clinics, schools, adult outpatient centers, and private practice.

I support adults, young adults, and teens in their journey to heal from stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and difficult life experiences.

I believe that there is not one specific approach that will cure all. I apply a variety of therapy techniques drawn from different theories to adjust my approach for each individual.

Everyone loses their way at times and experiences feelings of overwhelm, stress, or burnout. I’m here to provide you with the support and guidance you need to reconnect with yourself and find joy along the way.

We are adaptive beings.

Because of this we are able to look honestly and closely at the intricacies of our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and make healthy changes.

We are social beings.

Because of this we can find help, motivation, and courage from our communities, families, and friends

We are relational beings.

Because of this we care about how our past, present, and future experiences impact our important relationships.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES

No judgment, just joy in your journey.

Trust

Trust needs to exist in a therapeutic or coaching relationship for you to feel safe enough to begin making changes in your life.

Adaptivity

It’s important to maintain an open, holistic and mindful mindset so thats you remain open to the possibility of change and can challenge any difficult thoughts or situations.

Empathy

Empathy is crucial for quality care and rapport while we face your obstacles, trauma, mental health issues, and ambitious goals.
