What is Yoga with Kjersti?

Yoga with Kjersti is a practice focused on mindful movement, breath work, and meditation to reduce stress and increase feelings of well-being. It combines vinyasa and/or hatha yoga with meditation and/or breath work.

Who is Yoga for?

This is a drop-in class is for adult women that are committed to a balanced approach to managing physical, mental, and social health. *You do not need to be an experienced yogi to join.

Is it free to join?

Drop-In rates are $18 per 30 to 45-minute class.

What do we do as a member?

Participants are guided through a mindful yoga routine that may include breath work and meditation. Occasionally participants will receive written material on relevant topics for personal edification and practice.

Where do we meet?

Classes are held at Kjersti’s home studio or local parks in the South Bay. *Locations are subject to change.

Yoga is not therapy.

Yoga is a powerful way to bring alignment between the body and mind. However, it takes more than yoga on its own to have balanced health. A Yoga, breath work, and meditation practice is one element that contributes to a mentally and emotionally fulfilling lifestyle. It allows you to slow down, tune inward, and examine your thoughts, feelings, and sensations, grounding you in the present moment.

Yoga is not just for your mind.

Yoga is an opportunity to stretch, strengthen, and lengthen all of your body. It is an ideal physical practice to balance out other forms of physical exercise, such as running and walking.

Yoga with Kjersti is a community.

We support each other through our commitment and presence. We support ourselves through the physical & mental routine of yoga, and meditation.

The Sessions

Roughly there are 3 sessions offered per calendar year, with drop-in availability. September - November, January - March, April - June. *Subject to change

Our youth also experience stress.
The Running Based Stress Reduction for Youth is a social group that teaches how to handle stress using different natural methods. It’s a place to make friends, learn and enjoy yourself!
